Mt Zion Mission

As members of the body of Christ our mission is to faithfully pursue God’s will in our lives. Through humble submission we must seek daily to fulfill that great commission of the church as recorded in His written word.

We strive to restore and recover the hearts of the lost and poor in spirit through our passion for Christ and godly principles of living for Him.

Salvation  

Mt. Zion adheres to the Biblical doctrine of Salvation which declares “If we believe in our hearts, and confess with our mouths the Lord Jesus; that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.” Romans 10:9. Also Ephesians 2:8-9 which declares “By Grace are we saved through Faith, and not of ourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast."

Grace

Mt. Zion holds fast to what the Bible states about grace. Romans 1:5 states “Through Him we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations for His name."

Forgiveness of Sin 

Mt. Zion stands firmly on what the Bible says about the forgiveness of sin. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1st John 1:9.

Tithing        

Mt. Zion embraces and promotes tithing. This means the giving (usually ten-percent) of your income. “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house. And try Me now in this,” Says the LORD of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.”
